介绍了１２ＶＥ２３０ＺＣ—Ｃ型柴油机研制过程中，为提高柴油机功率，降低燃油消耗率、延长大修期所进行的设计研究，及样机的性能试验，可靠性试验、装船试验和试用情况。
This paper describes the design and experimental work of 12VE230ZC-C diesel engine for increasing engine output,lowering fuel consumption,prolonging overhaul period. The results of engine performance,reliability and sea test are also presented
