Experiments on the Selection of Small Watermelon' s Seeds

摘要 在田间条件下选择不同小型西瓜品新种进行筛选。结果表明:5个品种生长情况表现较好;其中,京颖1、京颖2品种西瓜中心的可溶性固形物高达13.08%、13.21%。日本MCA-88、日本L-600坐瓜率达到了1.63%、1.59%,产量可达5177.19、4646.24kg/667m^2。京秀产量为4307.71kg/667m^2。综合考虑667m^2产量、坐瓜率和可溶性固形物含量,L-600和MCA-88小型西瓜品种表现最为优异,建议北京市大兴区瓜农优先选用小果型西瓜L-600和MCA-88、京颖1、京颖2品种进行种植。 This research was conducted in the field. Several new kinds of small watermelon' s seeds are chosen as the research targets. Among these seeds, Jingyingl soluble solids rate was as high as 13.08% and Jingying 2 13.21%. Besides, fruit set rates of Japan MCA-88 and Japan L-600 is 1.63% and 1.59% respectively and accordingly the yield per mu for these two seeds was 5 177.19 kg and 4 646.24 kg. Jingxiu had a yield per mu of 4307.71 kg. Take the yield per 667 m2, fruit set rate and soluble solids rate into consideration, seeds of L-600 and MCA-88 perform best. Therefore, we suggest that seeds of L-600, MCA-88, JingYing 1 and JingYing2 can be chosen as priorities when planting watermelon in DaXing.
