On the Understanding of Translator Subjectivity in Lin's Translation Novels from the Perspective of Culture Context

林纾及其合作者在翻译过程中,加入了大量的主观态度,因此,将"林译小说"放置于当时的历史文化背景中,从当时的文化语境分析其中的译者主体性,是十分有必要的。"林译小说"中出现的众多独特的翻译方法和策略,正是"林译小说"在当时取得成功的重要因素之一。

It is held that LIN Shu and his cooperators added many subjective attitudes in the course of their translation. Hence it is necessary to make an analysis of the translator subjectivity from the culture context at that time if Lin＇s Translation Novels put in that historical and cultural background. It is concluded that the numerous and unique translation methods and tactics used in his translation novels can be considered as one of the important factors to his succcess.
