The first domestic styrene extraction unit, a 30 kt/a unit for extraction of styrene from pyrolysis gasoline (pyro-gas), in the construction of which the Guangdong New Hua’ao Petrochemical Company, a restructured enterprise affiliated to the Maoming Petrochemical Company, has invested 160 million RMB, has been continuously and safely operating for 430 days since May 2011.
