This paper analyses the intrinsic combination between business correspondence and parallel corpus with an entry point of the characteristics and application advantages of parallel corpus. The analysis, keeping an eye on business correspondence teaching from the perspectives of the lexis and translation, aims at enhancing the teach- ing efficiency and strengthening the students＇ practical skills and providing reference for a deeper investigation in this field.
