通识教育是一种通过多元化的教育手段,自主选择的教育课程,培养社会人的现代教育方式,其本质是自由教育。我国在从传统教育向通识教育转变的过程中,受到传统教育理念、教育物质基础的制约,还存在诸多问题。转变教育模式,培养创新人才,是我国高等教育改革和发展的必由之路,必须注重教育理念的转变,课程设置的调整,师资队伍的建设以及学生自主学习的激励。
