摘要
随着我国对外开放的程度日益加快,我国外宣翻译工作面临的挑战也日趋加大。公示语是我国对外宣传的一个重要方面,对公示语的英译须以读者为本,符合英语习惯和表达思维,让外籍读者一看就懂,真正达到对外交流和宣传的作用。这就要求在进行公示语汉英翻译时,绝不能简单对号入座,而是要根据汉英两种语言的差异性,对译文进行改写、重写、梳理、调整、深加工或者精加工甚至再创作。
With the speeding up of China's opening up, the challenge of our foreign publicity materials translation is also increasing. As an important part of our country's foreign publicity, translation of public signs should be reader-oriented, be in accordance with English speakers' habits and their ways of thinking so that the foreign readers understand these signs, so as to realize the purpose of foreign exchange. There- fore the translators should rewrite, adjust, process or even re-create during their C-E translation of the public signs according to the differences of the two languages, instead of matching the words literally.
