A Comparison of Clothing Design and Decoration Between She Ethnic Minority Group Women′s and Hui′an Women′s in Fujian Costal Areas

由于长期与外界隔绝,畲族与惠安妇女服饰至今仍保留着自己的文化特质和风格,展现出绚丽多姿的地域服饰文化特色。同时,畲族与惠安妇女服饰纹样无论是装饰部位、装饰手法还是装饰风格、题材运用等方面都存在着相似性。比较发现,传统畲族和惠安女服饰是民族文化的特殊载体,蕴含着深刻的文化内涵,这主要体现在凤鸟纹样、蝴蝶文样的文化内涵和装饰造型的吉祥寓意上。

Isolated from the outside for a long time,both She ethnic minority group women and Hui′an women keep their own cultural characteristics and styles in the dress and personal adornment,which show their various local cultures in the clothing.Meanwhile,there are similarities between She ethnic minority group women′s clothing decoration and Hui′an women′s one from the location of decoration,the manner of decoration,the style of decoration and the content.After a comparison,it is found that the traditional clothing decoration of She ethnic minority group women′s and Hui′an women′s is a special media of the national culture which has deep cultural connotation.Such connotation is represented on the cultural clothing designs and decorations with phoenix or butterfly and on the decoration style for symbolized good fortune.
