摘要
轧制机械英语作为科技英语的一个分支,其中大量的专业术语、紧凑的名词化结构、复杂的长句以及频繁使用的被动语态等特点常成为翻译的难点。文章对轧制机械英语的难点进行剖析,提出"专业术语表达规范"、"长句结构分析透彻"和"语序排列清晰流畅"三方面的翻译技巧。
It is difficult to translate professional documents in rolling machinery because of abundant technical terms, compact nominalization structures, complex long sentences and frequently use of passive voice. These difficulties are analyzed in detail in this paper, while three kinds of translating skills are put forward, which are standard technical terms, thorough analysis on the structure of long sentences, clear and fluent arrangement of the word order.
