This paper analyses the development and application of information technology.The relationship between the development of information technology, manufacturing technology and management technology and the development of enterprises as well as factors affecting enterprise development .It is proposed that developing information technology is the key factor in the development of enterprises. With the incorporation of global economy, the in-depth application of information technology is an irrevocable trend and information technology in modern enterprises performs a major function. To avoid the complexion of high investment and lower proceeds , enterprises must develop all kinds of technology in chime synchrostep with IT,place importance on the function performed by talented people in enterprises ,speed up the training of all round talents ,and be fully aware that knowledge is power and that information is economy and life of enterprises.
