The TV as a Space of Identification and Differentiation

摘要 The objective of this article is to work the media representation of citizens＇ rights in television news. We have taken a particular case which happened in the province and the autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina during the second week of December 2010. Such circumstances were in opposition to housing rights and property. We selected a sample of three evening news （two private and one public） Telenoche, Telefe News, and Vision 7, with the intention of establishing a line of comparison in both media, and thereby recognizing the differences in patterns of representation the news. From the analysis of data, we realize the ways in which TV News defined the citizen complaint.
