The Township head was Mr.Haha(an onomatopoeic rendition of"laughing").His name is Tsering Dongdrup.Because of the fast pronunciation in Chamdo,his name sounds like Tse Dondrup.Mr.Haha is 64 years old this year.Before Tibet began to cancel the division into regions and combine some township villages,Mr.Haha had been employed as head in the Township Villages of Lingka and Ra’og.In the past,Tibet had been divided into regions,equivalent to contemporary township villages.The township village ofthat time was a little bigger than today。
