摘要 Scalp avulsion is a severe injury. It only occasionally occurs in an industrial accident. Often a suddenentanglement and the instinctively instantaneous pull-out of the long hair into a high-speed rotary machine leads to the disaster. If the damage could not be restored through microsurgery, other methods, including simply replacing the avulsed scalp, or free flap graft from other part of the body, could not live up to aesthetic and functional demand, causing long-time psychological distress.
