Investigation of Colored-leaf Species Application to Urban Greening in Luoyang

园林树木叶子的形状、大小、颜色、质地等丰富多彩,千变万化,能引起人们的无穷兴趣。以叶色为例,夏天的树木大多为绿色,但也有深浅的不同和斑彩、异色等变化。还有一些树种春天嫩叶的色彩与夏天不同,表现出不同程度的新叶美;到了秋天树木更是色彩缤纷,呈现红、黄、紫、橙等各种美丽的颜色。从其彩叶形状特征显现的物候观察,分为季相彩叶和常年彩叶两大类,季相彩叶又可以具体细分为春色叶树和秋色叶树。

Landscape trees have resourceful and varied leaf shape, size, color and texture and rich and colorful, which can arouse people＇s infinite interests. Taking leaf color as an example, trees in summer mostly have green leaves, but with the different shades of color and patches. Some tree species have different leave colors in spring and in summer, showing as the beauty of new leaves sprouted in spring to some degree. When the autumn comes, trees pres- ent more colors including red, yellow, purple, orange and other beautiful colors. Therefore, through phenological ob- servation of shape characteristics of colored leaf, colored - leaf species can be divided into seasonal colored - leaf species and perennial colored - leaf species, and seasonal colored - leaf species can be subdivided into spring and autumn colored -leaf species.
