摘要
《红楼梦》叙述视角的多样化不仅提高了作品的艺术表现力,而且含有深刻的寓意。本文选取《红楼梦》中人物有限视角频繁出现的两个情节,结合语料统计与分析,探讨了《红楼梦》的3个英文全译本对原著人物有限视角的处理手法,旨在发现各译本在再现人物有限视角方面的异同与得失,以期对翻译中叙述视角的处理起到借鉴作用。
The diversity of narrative perspectives in Hong Lou Meng （A Dream of Red Chamber） adds not only to the novel＇s artistic touch, but also to its richness in meanings. By investigating two episodes in which the third person＇s limited narrative perspective is frequently employed, this paper attempts to compare and analyze how this particular perspective is dealt with in the three Eng- lish versions of the novel, with the aim of shedding some light on the translation practice of Chinese classics.
