On the Process and Causes of Daqing Oilfield Development

大庆油田是我国地质工作者破除对西方石油地质理论的迷信,在一整套独创的关于石油生成、运移、聚集、储藏的理论体系的指导下发现的。它的发现在中国石油史上具有转折性的意义,标志着我国开始形成自己独创的石油地质理论体系。这一过程告诉我们,没有任何宏观理论可以成为教条,在寻找油气资源的实践中必须根据具体情况进行具体分析,并进行大规模的地质普查工作。

Daqing oilfield was found by our national geological workers who did away with the superstition for the western petroleum geological theory and was guided by a set of original theory system about the genera- tion, transportation, gathering and storage of petroleum. Its discovery possesses the turning significance in the history of China petroleum, symbolizes the formation beginning of our original petroleum geology theory. This process tells us that no macro theory can become dogmatism, so it is necessary to do concrete analysis accord- ing to the concrete circumstance and make the large-scale geological survey in searching for the oil resources.
