近年来,加拿大政府致力于营造一个和谐的国家,颁布有利于移民的移民政策,鼓励社会各界成立保护土著居民的组织。《加拿大和解之路》指出,如何同土著居民和解是该书研究的重点。该书借土著居民的口讲述了一些真实的过去,为加拿大政府更好地同土著居民的和解提供了有益的思路。

The government has issued immigration policies which benefit the immigrants. It supports people from all walks of life to establish organizations to protect the aboriginal. The focus of this paper is about how the government recon ciliates with the aboriginal. It presents the reader some true history of the aboriginal through the people＇s narration, and provides some insights on the reconciliation between the government and the aboriginal.
