A Country without God——A Reflection of Chinese Secularism Tradition on the Culture

近年来我国思想界出现通过宗教兴起来解决社会转型期信仰问题的观点。本文对中华文明发展史上人本主义思想替代宗教思想的演化历程进行了引证分析,并与犹太教为代表的西方宗教演化过程加以比较,认为我国历史与现实中的世俗主义传统具有合理性与重要性。

Recent years there was a view in Chinese ideological circles that the social belief problems in transition phase should be solved by religion revival. In this paper, the status of Chinese ancient religious evolution and the reason of its being replaced by secularism with the development of civilization were discussed. Comparison of evolution of Judaism as a representative of the western religion was taken also. Humanistic rationality and necessity in Chinese history and reality were demonstrated.
