Discussion on Diagnosis Thinking about the Fever of Unknown Origin

对于不明原因发热(fever of unknown origin,FUO)患者,正确的思维方法对明确诊断和找到病因十分重要。本文对FUO的诊断思维进行论述,主要为横向思维(lateral thinking)和纵向思维(vertical thinking)方法,并介绍FUO诊断中的具体思维方法的应用和范例,这对FUO这类疑难病的诊断有一定指导意义。

Right thinking methods were helpful to make final diagnosis and to find the disease causes for patients with fewer of unknown origin （FUO）. This paper discusses diagnosis thinking methods filr FUO including lateral thinking and vertical thinking, and also introduces their application methods and provides some sample cases, which is instructive for the diagnosis of this kind of stubborn disease,such as FUO.
