摘要
本文基于雷达目标回波信噪比与距离的四次方成反比的物理原理,提出了一种检测门限系数随距离减小而增加的噪声电平恒虚警检测方法。该检测方法可以实现在保证目标检测概率变化不大的条件下进一步降低雷达检测区域的平均虚警概率,或者在保证雷达探测区域内平均虚警概率满足需要的条件下进一步降低雷达远区检测门限,增加雷达远程探测能力,从而提高雷达全区域综合检测性能。
Based on the physical principle that radar target echo signal to noise ratio (SNR) is inversely proportion- al to the fourth power of distance, a noise level constant false alarm rate (CFAR) detection method in which the detection threshold coefficient increases with the decrease of distance is proposed. By using this detection method, average false alarm probability can be reduced further meanwhile target detection probability changes less, or it can be ensured that long - range detection threshold can be reduced further while average false alarm probability in long -range detection situation can still meet requirements; therefore long -range detection capability and integrated detection performance of the radar can be both improved.
