张洁小说的创作以跨越两种方式的伦理写作立场来实现其小说的阶段性特征。她一方面从"人民伦理"的写作视角展现伦理蓝图形而上的特质,并试图深入构建现实伦理秩序;另一方面以向自由伦理的转变证明个体伦理存在多样性。张洁这一伦理观点的发展及突变反映在文本中,使其作品呈现出前后截然不同的风貌。

Based on spiritual evolvement in Zhang Jie＇ s novels, she has achieved phased features in her novels through the changes between two kinds of ethical positions. On the one side, she has appreciated us the metaphysical factor of the ethics of blueprint in the sight of human ethics, and then she attempts to structure an ethical order of real-ity ; on the other side, the authoress has proved the diversity of individual ethics by transforming into the ethics of free- dom. The novels have been emerged distinct style inside and outside according to the development and mutation with Zhang Jie＇ s ethical view.
