摘要
以trans-4-n-烷基环己基甲醇和4-溴4'-羟基联苯为原料合成厂一组4-(trans-4-n-烷基环己基甲氧基)-4'-氰基联苯类液晶化合物,用IR、MS、元素分析确证了化学结构。研究发现铜盐对trans-4-n-烷基环己基甲醇的溴代反应有催化作用;在相转移催化剂的作用下进行醚化获得较高收率;氰代反应以N-甲基-2-吡咯烷酮为溶剂效果较好。DSC测试结果表明该类液晶化合物具有较高的清亮点。
The liquid crystal compounds of 4-(4-trans-4-n -alkylcyclohexanemethoxy )-4'-cyanobiphenyls has been synthesized from trans-4- n -alkylcyclohexanemethol and 4-bro-mo-4'-hydroxybiphenyls. The reaction conditions has been studied and the study showed that: cupric ion has the catalysis to the reaction of trans-4- n -alkylcyclohexanemethol and bromine hydride,etherifying reaction gets higher yield under the effect of phase transfer catalysis, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone is the better solvent for cyanating reaction. All produc-tions were identified by IR, MS and element analyses, and the measurement of DSC showed that these compounds have higher clear point.
