伊萨克·迪内森的《走出非洲》是一部充满异域色彩的自传体小说,以非洲和非洲人民为主要描写对象。作者自身具有三种不同的文化身份,欧洲贵族、白人女性和殖民商人。在各种不同身份的关照下,迪内森笔下的非洲和非洲人民呈现出不同的形象。另一方面,异国形象的各种呈现都是迪内森多重身份的一种隐喻再现,以帮助作者全面了解自我,完成身份的建构。

Isak Dinesen＇ s Out of Africa is an autobiographical fiction full of exotic colors,and centers Africa and African people. The author owns three different cultural identities, a nobleman in Europe, a white woman and a colonial businessman. The image of Africa and African people changes with these different identities. On the other hand, the change of the alien image is the metaphorical represent of her multiple identities, which helps in self-understanding and identity-construction.
