A Research on Nantong’s Building the North Wing Economy Center in Yangtze River Delta (Ⅱ)

南通建设长三角北翼经济中心面临的主要问题是科技创新能力有待提升,产业核心竞争力优势不强,区域带动作用不明显。为了推进南通建设长三角北翼经济中心,应注意处理好五个方面的关系,即远景目标与近期工作的关系,科技引领与发挥资源、区位优势之间的关系,传统产业转型升级与新兴产业加快发展的关系,国内与国际两个市场之间的关系,沿海开发与协调发展的关系。

The main problems Nantong facing when developing the economy on the north wing economy center are as follows. Firstly, technological innovation capability needs to be improved. Secondly, advantages of industrial core competitiveness isn＇t powerful .Thirdly, the regional leading role is not obvious. To promote the construction of the north wing economy center of Yangtze River Delta in Nantong area, attentions should be drawn to handle relations in five aspects. Firstly, the relationship between long-term goals and short-term work; secondly, the relationship between technology guidance and recourses using as well as regional advantages; thirdly, the relationship between the upgrading of traditional industries and the boosting of emerging industries; fourthly, the relationship between the domestic and international markets; lastly, the relationship between coastal development and coordinated development.
