Wang Dulu a Sorrowful and Romantic Knight

王度庐是20世纪三四十年代通俗文学作家、沦陷区作家、少数民族作家的杰出代表,他兼具言情与武侠两大元素而以武侠为主,在1937—1949年寓居青岛任职中学教师期间,通过《青岛新民报》创作并连载了大量的通俗文学作品,对后世武侠小说影响很大。王度庐的文学创作成就不仅具有民国京旗作家的一般价值,而且具有维护文化多元共生、重视中华文化积累、强化国家文化形象的重要意义。

Wang Dulu is an outstanding representative of popular literature writers of ethnic minority in enemy-occupied area in the 1930s. Although romantie fictions and martial aria fietians are the main styles and features in his works, martial arts fictions are more typical. From 1937 to 1949, he lived in Qingdao, occupied with teaching in the middle sehool. Publishing and creating works of popular literature in Qingdao Xinmin Bao, he had a great influence on the later martial arts fictions. Not only did his achievement in literary creation have general value from the writers of the Republic of China, but also his works play a significant part in maintaining muhicuhure, cuhural accumulation and improving image cuhure of the country.
