On "Learning by Doing": The Inevitable Requirement for Vocational Education in China

实现高技能、应用型技术人才目标,高职教育必然选择以形成技能和实践能力为核心的"做中学"的教学模式,其精髓是让学生在实际操作中学,从亲身体验中学,通过解决问题来学,在"做中学"的过程中形成技能和实际操作能力,体现了职业教育教学特点和规律。

In order to realize the purposes of high vocational education which trains person with high skills and practical techniques, we carry out the teaching mode - ＂learning by doing＂ with the core of constructing skills and operating. The quintessence of the model is to let students learn from operation, experience and specific situation. Through ＂Learn by doing＂ they can get skills and ability, which embodies the features and principle of the high vocational education and teaching.
