Nowadays,rnental health education course has become one of the important approaches to mental health education of college students. The teaching goals of the course shottld be made clear so that teachers and students can have the contain goals in class. The article studies the functions of teaching goals of college students＇ mental health education course,the basis of setting goals,principles and basic steps of setting the teaching goals. The theoretical and practical implications are discussed.
