On Designs of Grain Coupons from the Perspective of Graphically Visual Symbols

粮票作为上世纪中国五十年代末到八十、九十年代末的重要文化记忆,其设计流变必然和整个民族的民生民情息息相关。文章分析了粮票文化、粮票的设计视觉符号的特点,揭示了在五六十年代、文革时期和社会主义建设时期粮票的不同时代特质和设计特点,剖析出粮票的设计符号中具有地方性和时事性的特点。

Grain coupons are significant cultural memories in the late Chinese 1950s to 80s and 90s, and their designs and changes are closely related to people＇ s livelihood. The paper made an analysis of the characteristics of the culture and the visual symbol, revealing different characteristics and design features of the times in the 1950s and 60s, during the cultural revolution and the socialist construction period and finding characteristics of localization and current events in the design symbol.
