The Kind and Pitiful Spirit of Glaring-looking Vajra——The Study of Nanyue Venerable Master Huisi

南岳尊者慧思大师依"一心三观"之法,证得"法华三昧",解行高明,并以此所证智慧而弘扬大乘佛法。弘法过程中,几度受到恶比丘和恶论师们的毒害,其护持正法、度化众生的慈悲大愿,便由此而有"金刚怒目"的特殊部分。从其自身的理论论证,及其宗教修行的证量、弘法的宗教实践来看,其"金刚怒目"的形式,正具有着"菩萨低眉"的慈悲本质。

According to the ＂one - mind and three - observation＂ law, the venerable Master Huisi consummated Flahua samadhi. He had recondite theory and practice and thus carried forward Mahayana Buddhism by the wisdom. In the process of carrying forward Buddhism, he was poisoned several times by the evil monks and the critics. And hence his kind and pitiful wishes of protecting the true dharma and saving sentient beings had this kind of special part of glaring - looking Vajra. From the theory of his own demonstration and his religious practice of carrying forward Buddhism, the form of glaring - looking Vaira effectively had the essence of kind - looking Bodhisattva.
