On E-Commerce and Management of Employees

最近CA公司董事长兼首席执行官王嘉廉先生在清华大学就电子商务的发展及CA公司的人力资源管理等问题向清华师生发表了演讲,其中不乏较新颖的观点本刊整理如下,以供读者品评。

We have all come to realize the rapid development of e-commerce, such as Amazon. However, I'd like to draw your attention to several aspects in this regard. First, you must be Number One to be in e-commerce business. Second, the success of companies engaged does not merely mean doing the whole business on line and providing some information and data, E-commerce need more solutions to be a success. Therefore, we should not stop at an Internet enterprise, what we need is a package solution. As a manager, you must remember that you are not alone, but have to cooperate with your colleagues. All the CA's employees are excellent and our work is of innovative nature, such as designing computer programs and software, so it's impossible to set too many rules and regulations on it. One of the CA's mottos is that you are allowed to fail, don't worry about it, for real failure brings real success. So Just go ahead, don't hesitate!
