评福山的历史终结论——兼论福山研究中国模式的理论出发点

Comments on Fukuyama's " End of History" Thesis: Beginning with Fukuyama's Carping Remarks on China Model

福山认为,存在着以自由民主制度为方向的人类普遍史,在经济和"承认"、"信任"等双重动力推动下,历史终结于市场资本主义和西方式的自由民主制度。福山由此观察中国发展模式,认为中国模式的内涵与资本主义的自由、民主和法治的普世价值不相一致,中国模式不值得效仿和不可持续。福山目的在于竭力让中国模式增加资本主义成分,竭力让中国模式以西方资本主义为楷模,竭力扭转中国模式的社会主义和共产主义指向。西方资产阶级政要和右翼思想家从来没有放弃过使中国"政权更迭"、"改旗易帜"的梦想。福山的历史观,以及基于这一历史观对中国模式所作出的种种研究,说到底就是为他们实现这一梦想提供理论依据的。

In Fukuyama＇ s view, there is a fundamental process at work that dictates a common evolutionary pattern for all human societies something like a universal history of mankind in the direction of liberal democracy. The human history process has been driven forward equally by the progressive unfolding of economics, and by the struggle for recognition. Fukuyama thus observes China~ development model, argues that the connotation of the China model and the universal values of capitalism-liberal democracy-is not consistent, and China model is unsus- tainable and is not worth to follow. Fukuyama＇ s aim is trying to make China model increase the ingredient of capitalism, to let the China model take western capitalism as a model, to reverse the China mode of socialism and communism. Western bourgeois politicians and right-wing thinkers never give up their dream of changing China＇ s regime and authorities. Fukuyama~ view and his studies of history and China model are to provide theoretical basis for them to achieve this dream.
