This paper briefly introduces the ways of several types of locomotive that how to run on the vehicle rolling test bed,and makes comparison between them.With the type increase of tested locomotive,the way of locomotive that how to run on the test bed adopts guiding beam structure.This structure is much reasonable and can meet the test requirement of different axle base and distance.
