明清时期苏北地区慈善机构的历史考察——以养济院和育婴堂为例

明清时期苏北地区的养济院和育婴堂等社会慈善事业有了显著的发展,分布区域更加广泛,管理日趋完善。养济院大多由地方官员主持创建,官方力量在其中发挥着重要作用。相对而言,育婴堂虽然大多数仍由地方官员倡导或创建,但民间力量已广泛参与。地方官员和民间力量的密切协作成为促进明清苏北地区慈善事业发展的重要因素。
