摘要
重复频率和脉宽可调的锁模光纤激光器在光通信及光学测量领域有重要应用。但是主动锁模光纤激光器产生的脉冲的重复频率和脉宽是有相关性的,不能做到独立可调。本实验基于多频率调制法,将正弦波与方波进行混频后的信号作为调制信号,通过改变混频信号的参数在重复频率固定为104.34 MHz的情况下,获得了脉宽分别为705 ps,500 ps,407 ps,330 ps的脉冲。
Mode-locked fiber laser with tunable repetition and pulse width is widely used in optical communication and measurement applications.Usually the repetition and pulse width of the active mode-locked fiber laser can not be tuned independently.It is difficult to shorten the pulse width for a given repetition.In this experiment,we use multiple frequency modulation mode-locking(MFM-ML)method to drive mode-locker.The signal which is mixed by sine wave and rectangular wave is used as drive signal.By changing the parameter of the signal we obtain 4 different output pulse respectively,the pulse width are 705 ps,500 ps,407 ps,330 ps.
