The movie Babel released in 2006 tells a story in which a gun eaused a series of happenings in different countries. Babel＇s theme is profound and full of multiple meanings. Analyzed fi＇om the perspective uf intertextuality, the author holds that the subject of the movie Babel has something to do with the biblical allusion. Today＇s world is filled with barriers on language, heart, culture and so on, and the factor of leading to barriers is that the human wants to construct themselves and create culture and chase material, which reflects the absurd culture.
