Poelry is the cream nf Chinese old literature. But the Tang poetry is not only a gem in Chinese literature, but also an exotic flower in tire world literary garden. The utilization nf color is one of the most important ways of poet. With the enlorful colors, poet can deseribe a series of beautiful and bright - colored pictures to us. Those ever changing colors express the abundant inner worhl of poet and restore Ihe social life of Tang dynasty. This work will research when the color images are translated under the difference between Chinese culture and western culture from the perspective of culture transmission, what translation methnds should be taken, to see if the translation has faithfully restored the gorgeous scene of the original work.
