新疆维吾尔族中学英语教学现状调查研究——以喀什市第六中学为个案 被引量:4

An Investigation of English Teaching at Uygur Middle Schools in Xinjiang——A Case Study of No.6 Middle School in Kashi

摘要 通过对喀什六中宏志班、双语班、普通班144名维吾尔族学生英语学习的调查,发现新疆英语教师教学认真负责,维吾尔族学生家长对子女英语学习寄予很高期望,维吾尔族学生喜爱英语,有认真学习英语的想法。同时也反映出新疆边远地区英语教学条件艰苦、教材选取难度大、维吾尔族学生学习困难多、英语学习投入的时间和精力不够等问题。 An investigation was carried out to study English learning of 144 Uygur students in Class Hong Zhi(class for excellent students from poverty-stricken families),bilingual classes and normal classes at No.6 Middle School in Kashi.The results show that English teachers in Xinjiang are responsible in teaching,that parents of the students have high expectations for their children's English learning and that students are not only interested in English learning but also have desire to study well.Meanwhile,the study also shows that there are many problems such as poor teaching conditions,difficulty in selecting teaching materials,students having many difficulties in learning,and insufficient time and effort devoted to English learning.
