Shiganaoya was a Japanese novelist and short story writer.And he is praised as the 'god of fiction'.Most of his works are based on his own life experiences in the form of 'I-novel'.The style of Shiganaoya's early works was rebellious,but the style of his late works changed.The spirit of reconciliation appeared.The novel Wakai embodied the change of the style.This novel not only reflected the change of the writer's style of writing,but also reflected the change of his heart.Through the analysis of the process of the change of his heart revealed in Wakai,this paper points out that the great change of his life and the influence of the environment around him are the reasons of the change of his writing style.
