春秋战国时期政治斗争的残酷性集中体现在政治性杀戮上。据初步统计,较大规模的政治性杀戮事件共有27例,主要发生在晋、楚、齐、秦四国,这表明当时四国内外所面临的变革因素较多,变革的幅度较大。政治性杀戮事件发生的具体原因虽各异,但背后起决定作用的应是反映为权力的经济利益。
