Patent Portfolio Analysis Application in the Enterprises Technology Competitiveness Evaluation:A Case Study Based on Hydrogen Storage Technology

首先介绍了专利组合的基本思路与分析模型,以及专利组合分析的相关功能。然后对Holger Ernst教授的专利组合方法进行部分修正,利用专利相对技术优势来界定各研究公司的技术强度,以各公司主流技术的技术吸引力、专利相对位置和技术强度为指标,绘制专利组合图,并对储氢技术领域的重要企业进行实证分析,表明了专利组合分析是评价企业竞争力的有效方法。

This article fu-st introduces the theory, analysis model and function of the patent portfolio. Then, based on Professor Holger Ernst＇ s patent portfolio method, it uses patent relative technological advantage to define the strength of enterprises. Using attractive tech- nology, the patent relative position and relative technology strength as three indicators, we draw a patent portfolio chart. The revised indi- cators are applied in the patent portfolio at the technological level to assess company＇ s technologies in field of hydrogen storage. The resuits show patent portfolio is an effective tool in enterprise ＇ s technology competitiveness evaluation.
