Data analysis experimental ability training of economics and management students

数据分析能力已成为经管类学生的一个核心能力。针对经管类学生在数据分析能力培养中存在的问题,以《专业统计软件应用》实验课程为载体进行了探索与实践。传统课程教学存在缺少针对性强的实验教材、融会贯通能力不足、实践教学手段和方法不够科学化、缺少综合性实践项目的支撑等问题。为解决上述问题,提出编写针对性强的实验指导教材、构建科学的实验教学体系、改变实验教学模式和改革成绩评定方法等主要改革措施。以上措施的实施,丰富了实验教学内容,规范了实验教学过程,促进了学生数据分析能力的提高。

Data analysis ability is vital for the economics and management students. For the existing problems in the cultivation of data analysis ability, we explore and practice in the ‘professional statistical software application’ curriculum. The traditional teaching has problems, including lack of better teaching materials, non-scientific practice teaching means and methods, lack of comprehensive practice project. In order to solve the above problems, we put forward the ideas of writing targeted experimental guidance materials, constructing a scientific experiment teaching system, changing single teaching mode to combination teaching mode, optimizing students’ performance evaluation methods and so on. Some measures have been adopted. Through these methods, the experimental teaching content is enriched, the experimental procedure is regulated and the students data analysis ability has been improved.
