摘要
利用四波混频效应在半导体光放大器中产生了频率为0.12THz的太赫兹波,然后将0.12THz太赫兹波作为载波,搭载1个10Gbit/s的基带信号在光纤中传输,并对其传输性能进行了分析.结果表明,当传输距离比较短时,由于光纤中的色散效应比较弱,解调后的基带信号的眼图非常清晰;当传输距离比较大时,由于受到很强的色散效应影响,解调后的基带信号的眼图变得不理想,其张开度逐渐变小.
In this paper, the 0.12-THz wave in the semiconductor optical amplifier based on the etlect of four-wave-mixing is generated. Then the 0.12-THz wave is used as a carrier, which carries 10 Gbit/s based-band signal and propagates in a fiber. The propagation characteristics of the based-band signal are analyzed. The results show that when the length of propagation is short, the eye diagrams of demodulation of based-band signal are very clear due to the weak dispersion effect. When the length of propagation is increased, the eye diagrams of demodulation of based-band signal become imperfect and their opening diminish gradually due to the strong dispersion effect.
