摘要
对河南省三所高校英语教师自主职业发展现状的调查发现:高校英语教师表现出了较高水平的自我发展意识,在自主发展内容上有明确的发展需求;自主职业发展方式比较传统、有限,自主发展行为的自觉性、计划性不强;自主职业发展效果的自我评价总体偏低;自主职业发展缺乏一定的资源、条件和相关指导。高校英语教师自主职业发展不仅需要外部客观条件的支持,更需要英语教师积极进行自我建设。
College English teachers autonomous professional development is investigated by the self-designed questionnaire,some appropriate proposals are made accordingly.The results of the survey are as follows: College English teachers have a higher level of consciousness in self-development,they have a clear need in their professional development;The development means they applied are rather traditional and limited,their initiative and planning in autonomous professional development is not strong;They have a low self-assessment on the effect of autonomous professional development;Their autonomous professional development is in need of conditions,resources and guidance.Autonomous professional development for teachers of English requires not only an external attention and support,but also English teachers' own active self-construction.
