Perspective on the Structure of Chinese Urban Planning System——Speaking from the Progress and Perplexity in the Contemporary Urban Planning in the West

本文作者针对我国规划界目前在理论和实践中感到的一些问题,提出了自己的想法,在充分肯定过去成绩的基础上,对今后我国城市规划的发展,发表了探索性的意见,本文还强调了规划要着重于更为广义的内涵。作者为我国城市规划事业未来的发展模式提出了理论框架。

How to give a just appraisal of the state of art of the science of urban planning in China and iden-tification of issues therefrom are the problems which closely concern our planners. The Author basing on the progress,developmants in urban planning undertakings in China in the recent years and taking into considerations of the state of art abroad ,has analysed and made comparative studies from a broad perspective and foresight and proposed that from now on our planners should embark on a search for the development objectives in urban space in the conurbation and the study of urban design so as to thrust ahead planning undertakings.
