根螨属(Rhizoglyphus)1新种记述(真螨目:粉螨亚目:粉螨科)

A NEW SPECIES OF GENUS RHIZOGLYPHUS FROM CHINA (Acariformes: Acaridida: Acaridae)

记述根螨属1新种,定名为淮南根螨Rhizoglyphus huainanensis sp.nov.,采自洋葱鳞茎上。

The present paper reports a new species of the genus Rhizoglyphus from Huainan, China, named Rhizoglyphus huainanensis sp. nov. All measurements given are in μm. The type specimens are deposited in the Medical School. Huainan Mineralogical College.Rhizoglyphus huainanensis sp. nov. (Figs. 1~7)Byody length 1006. 3, width 520This new species resembles Rhizoglyphus robini Clapararede , 1869. The differences between them are as follows :1. The former body is comparatively larger.2. The former cuticle is not smooth with high ossification, it is deep brown with etch in the back.3. The former shield is ladder - shaped, while the latter is rectangle.4. The former dorsal seiae is short, with length no longer than 1/5 of the body, the latter see, hi,d4,sai is longer than 1/4 of the body.5. The former has no supracoxal (ps) and external sacral seta(sce).6. There are six pairs of minute setae and two pairs of postanal setae around the anus.This genus has other two species: Rhizoglyphus callac Oudemaus and Rhizoglyphs echinopus (Fu-mouze & Robain) , but bursa copulatrix of Rhiznglyphs cullae Oudemaus is directly connected to a big, anomalistically shaped receplaculum seminis, while the new species is connected by a pipe. The Rhi-zoglypus schinopu.s lacks sci, dl,d2 dorsal setae, while the new species has complete setae. Holotype ♀ and paratyle 4 ♀♀ collected from onion bulbs,Huainan. Anhui province. The male is not collected.
