摘要
东灵山地区辽东栎成熟林内辽东标(Quercusliaotungensis)种群更新主要依赖于前蘖,而实生苗极少。为探索其原因,我们应用随机样方法进行了辽东栎种子库统计。结果表明:1)种子雨持续时间短、强度大,种子散落总密度为123个·m-2。2)种子大小在种子雨的不同时期差异很大,大的种子在种子雨高峰中后期所占比例较高。3)土壤种子库存在时间约100d左右,种子密度最高时为42.7个·m-2。4)土壤种子库输出途径主要有死亡后腐烂、发芽、动物当场取食和搬运,其中动物搬运是影响种子库动态的最重要因子。
Seedling regeneration in mature Quercus liaotungensis forest in Dongling mountain region is low and natural regeneration of Q. litiotungensis populations appears to rely on basal sprouting. To explore the reasons for low seedling establishment we conducted a study of seed demography of Q. liaotungensis. Results from random sampling show that:1)The seed rain is brief but very intense; the total density of seed rain is about 123 seeds·m-2; 2)Seed size varies greatly during the seed release period,with the proportion of big seeds relatively high shortly after the peak fall period;3)The soil seed bank lasts about 100 days and the highest seed density is about 42. 7 seeds·m-2; 4)Loss from the soil seed bank occurs through decay after death,germination,in situ predation and removal by animals,which latter is the most important factor affecting the soil seed bank dynamics.
