A Shadow Compensation Method for Aerial Image

摘要 首先,对航空影像进行影像分割和阈值计算来预测阴影区域。其次,计算阴影区域的直射光与环境光的比值,同时,采用多波段合成方式实现阴影区域与非阴影区域之间的平滑过渡;最后,根据特定的阴影光照模型完成阴影补偿。实验结果表明,该方法不仅能有效补偿阴影,还能确保补偿后的阴影区域与非阴影区域平滑过渡。 A shadow compensation method for aerial images is proposed. First, an image seg- mentation method is applied and the threshold value is calculated to help predict a shadow re- gion. Then the ratio of direct light to ambient light pertaining to the shadow region is calcu- lated. In the meantime, the multi-band blending method is adopted to realize a smooth tran- sition from shadow region to non-shadow region. Finally, the shadow compensation is fin- ished according to a certain illumination model. The experiments show that the proposed method can not only effectively compensate the shadow regions, but ensure a smooth transi- tion from shadow to non-shadow regions.
