On the Essence of Truth Authority

真理权威的本质,是人们对客观事物的本质及其规律性、社会生活的本质及其合理性的价值认定和自觉的服从,是对人的自觉能动性及其现实性的提升,是主体自由的进一步实现。真理权威对人类的价值:一是为人类的生存和发展提供理论价值目标,使人类社会实现向高级形态跃迁;二是为人类的生存和发展提供实践价值目标,使人类的生活和实践获得科学思维的规范。

The essence of truth authority is a value identification and voluntary obeying upon the nature and rules of the objective world, and the nature and rationality of social life. It is a promotion of people＇s initiative and the further realization of subject＇s freedom. Truth authority offers theoretical and practical value orientations for people＇s existence and development so as to progress society to the advanced form, and regulate the scientific thinking in practice.
