图书馆事业从20世纪后半叶开始受到新技术发展的猛烈冲击,以至于图书馆人一度受到技术决定论思想影响,认为我们已经不再需要实体存在的图书馆。历经半个世纪以后,图书馆有识之士开始重新界定图书馆的意义,重新审视以人为本的人文精神,重新面对、积极探索作为实体图书馆对外服务的新举措。

From the second half of the 20th century, the library career has been strongly impacted by the development of new technologies. Individuals in the library have once been affected by the technological determinism which deemed that the entitative libraries were no longer necessary. After half of century, people of insight have re - defined the significance of libraries. They rechecked the spirit of people fore- most, re -faced and actively explore new measures of enfitative libraries toward public.
