金岳霖的知识论概念及其当代比较

An analysis and contemporary comparison of the concept of Jin Yuelin’s epistemology

知识论概念是哲学家对知识论研究内容的总体描述。不同的哲学家对知识论概念的理解不同。金岳霖认为,知识论是研究知识的学问,而知识是客观存在的。其知识论是为客观知识提供解释的学问。与此不同,当代知识论学家并不直接肯定知识的客观存在,而是试图对知识概念进行分析并为我们的知识宣称提供辩护。因此,在他们看来,知识论包含知识理论和辩护理论两个部分。比较研究发现,金岳霖的知识论具有重视理论客观性和知识结构性的独特之处;同时存在忽视怀疑论挑战和缺乏理性论证的内在问题。

As a concept, epistemology is the whole description about the theory of knowledge. As is well known that different philosophers endorse different interpretations to the concept of epistemology. In Jin Yuelin＇s opinion, epistemology supplies explanations for knowledge that is objective. In contrast, contemporary epistemologists don＇t directly admit the existence of knowledge. By analyzing the concept of knowledge and arguing in favor of knowledge claims, they consider epistemology as the theory of knowledge and the theory of justification that replies for challenges offered by skeptics. Through comparatively studying the two kinds of the concept of epistemology, the author comes to the conclusion that Jin Yuelin＇s epistemology pays more attention to theoretical objectivity and constitutive property of knowledge. However, it ignores the challenges from skeptics and lacks valid argument for his standpoints.
